I grew up in this neighborhood. A very dear friend, and her family were the children, and wife of Irving Gross, whose men's store you see in the photo. He died very young unfortunately, and the store closed. Lawrence Silver

I remember as a young boy my parents shopped at Abrams Shoes. I thought we got Buster Brown Shoes there, but not sure.

My Dad, Dr. Bernard Jacobson, had his dental office at 2501 West Devon ave. for many years.
