I find something especially appalling when I read about this kind of Medical Fraud- especially involving so many individuals. Fines are one thing- I suspect they usually go 95% Un-paid. Jail Time- absolutely- and it sounds like these culprits " got off easy". It's an ugly sad story- thanks for taking time to research and write it! <br />Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00001333721443002334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2698674352470153088.post-40088239589161770902020-12-11T07:12:24.892-06:002020-12-11T07:12:24.892-06:00I grew up down the street from Edgewater Hospital ...I grew up down the street from Edgewater Hospital in the 50's and 60's. Everyone in the neighborhood used their ER facilities at one time or another. As kids we used to run down the street every time an ambulance pulled up to the ER entrance. It is a shame that the hospital's history has to be tainted with dishonesty and corruption.Jeanettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17142413424460858364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2698674352470153088.post-74565552518439879162020-12-10T16:06:46.012-06:002020-12-10T16:06:46.012-06:00I often drove by there on Ashland and wondered wha...I often drove by there on Ashland and wondered what was going on with this building. I moved to West Ridge in the 1970's and the hospital then looked like it was on it's last legs. I had no idea they were still open in the 1990's. We used Ravenswood Hospital, until that closed also.617north@gmail.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08794423000742289866noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2698674352470153088.post-33750048164708785032020-12-10T12:36:30.358-06:002020-12-10T12:36:30.358-06:00Thank you for this very informative article. Was shocked to read that a couple of the doctors still have their licenses.Nancy Zhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02919779995919333112noreply@blogger.com
