The CCC&StL also known as the Big 4 was officially the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago, and St. Louis. The name Clover Leaf applied to the division of the CCC&StL which served St. Louis. The CCC&StL was acquired by the New York Central in 1906 which eventually became part of CSX.
